Meet the Founder

I’m the founder and CEO of SIRS Electronics, Inc., a Texas-based company that designs and manufactures linear LED lighting and digital control systems. I’m an Electrical Engineer, and I’ve spent nearly 30 years working in electronics, lighting technology, and product development, with a strong focus on turning solid-state lighting ideas into reliable, real-world solutions.

Before starting SIRS-E in 2005, I worked in research and product-development roles within the electronics industry. As LED technology began to evolve, I saw an opportunity to build practical, engineering-driven lighting systems that combined performance, control, and ease of installation. That vision became the foundation of SIRS-E.

Today, I oversee product engineering, R&D, and technical direction for the company. SIRS-E operates U.S.-based design and manufacturing and supplies LED strips, drivers, and DMX control systems for architectural, commercial, and entertainment lighting projects. I’ve also pursued advanced studies in solid-state lighting technology and stay closely connected with lighting designers, integrators, and OEM partners. My approach is simple: build lighting solutions that work well, last long, and make sense in the field.
