Graphic Design/Marketing Associate

The Digital Marketing Associate will assist in developing and managing content for marketing campaigns and social media platforms. 

Key Components

Responsibilities

  • Develop and create marketing content for digital marketing campaigns and social media platforms
  • Collaborate with engineers to draft product descriptions and upload videos to our YouTube account
  • Monitor and respond to YouTube comments
  • Manage eBay, Amazon, and Google accounts, update product catalogs and contact customer service to troubleshoot issues in a timely manner
  • Lead on art direction for products, set up fronts for product displays, photography, video recording, editing photos and video
  • Draft product descriptions
  • Upload content (videos, photos, product descriptions) to website
  • Manage website, update and provide strategic input for designs and layouts

Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Associate Degree in Graphic Design/Marketing or Equivalent Experience (Relevant work experience may substitute education requirements)
  • Demonstrate experience editing and maintaining HTML coding, WordPress Platforms, Woo Commerce
  • Demonstrate experience using Canon 5D Mk III, 6D, and/or other photography equipment
  • Demonstrate proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign)

Web Master/ Marketing Position

We are looking for a hard-working, dedicated “in-house” Webmaster to fill our current position. Must be diligent, creative, organized, and highly collaborative.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in the following areas:

  • Various coding languages (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.),
  • File Transfer Protocol (FTP), and all of their variations,
  • My SQL database
  • Database file maker – internal catalog management

SMT Programmer / Production Operator

Position Overview:

We are looking for Programmer/Production Operators on a full time basis to assist in the manufacturing of LED strips lighting and controls. Reporting to the Engineering staff, the successful candidate will work in a small team to perform assembly of electronic components that includes preparation, placement and installation.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Programming and maintenance.
  • Operate screen printer, pick and place machine, and reflow oven.
  • Perform all facets of surface mount assembly.
  • Coordinate introduction of new boards and E.C.N. changes.
  • Manual assembly of electronic components including complex and high density projects according to assembly books, custom specs and quality standards.
  • Perform hand soldering, inspection and rework of all thru-hole, SMT, mixed assemblies and custom parts as per Engineering specifications and IPC workmanship standards.
  • Component preparation, placement and installation.
  • Final assembly and/or pack and ship as required.
  • Mechanical assembly as required.
  • Conduct repair/touch up/modifications on the products as required.
  • Be able to work on different aspects of the manufacturing operations.
  • Participate in training and certification programs to ensure job knowledge and skills set.
  • Participate in all team level quality improvement initiatives and safety procedures.

Position Requirements:

  • Knowledge in printed circuit board related processes – soldering, cleaning, and repairing.
  • SMT knowledge ideal.
  • SMT knowledge in LED strip lighting and controls ideal.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of standards in electronic components handling preferred.
  • Hands on manufacturing skills such as manual soldering are required.
  • Be able to work from blueprints, process sheets, a sample or other work instructions.
  • Be able to work independently.
  • Comply with all department and company rules.
  • Excellent hand and eye dexterity/coordination.
  • Working with extremely small parts using magnifying lenses and small hand tools.
  • Attention to detail is critical.
  • Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Technical communication skills – must be able to interface with engineering and purchasing.
  • Strong communication skills and a team player.
  • Have the ability to use hand, air and power tools.

LED Lighting Sales Representative

A LED Lighting Sales Representative will participate as a Customer Service Representative by providing recommendations and solutions to consumer’s LED and DMX control needs regarding a wide range of project sizes. These services are provided through a mixture of interaction methods which may include phone, email, and face-to-face instances.

Key Components:

  • Strong communicator, both verbal and written
  • Technically Oriented (Knowledge of DMX controls is a PLUS)
  • Proven track history of sales accomplishments
  • Understanding of LED strip utilization (i.e. single color, RGB , 4 in 1, DMX)
  • Understanding of LED strip lighting design and installations

Qualifications:

  • Well spoken (English Mandatory, Spanish is a PLUS)

  • Ability to carry packages up to 50LBS

Senior LED Lighting Sales Representative

The Senior LED Sales Representative will plan and implement commercial and industrial penetration strategies in order to cultivate and capture new business opportunities within the lighting and emerging LED market. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the lighting market and work within cross-functional management and operations teams. The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for all sales activity with regards to various territories.

Key Components:

  • Technically Oriented with knowledge of LED lighting and lighting controls (DMX controls is a PLUS)
  • Ability to communicate with architects, lighting designers, engineers, contractors, AV integrators, and installers
  • Understanding of lighting controls used for residential, hospitality, architectural, and production applications

Duties:

  • Demonstrate strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills resulting in development of specific, measurable, and timely account planning activities
  • Leverage extensive industry relationships to sell SIRS-E® LED lighting products into residential, commercial, industrial, production, and manufacturing vertical markets
  • Develop competitive sales strategies by understanding competitive product offerings, leveraging product differentiation and endorsing value selling principles
  • Communicate sales strategies to channel partners including agent, representatives, distributors, and inside sales.
  • Cultivate end user relationships, develop effective value propositions, and negotiate to close complex contracts
  • Represent and provide market exposure for products and services at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably 5+ years in the LED Strip Lighting Industry

Accounting-Bookkeeping / Claims Associate
  • The day to day responsibilities of the Accounting/Claims Associate will include: Customer Accounting (70% of the time)
  • Posting and tracking of sales transactions to QuickBooks Enterprise 2015
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive customer material
  • Posting of bills and locating purchase orders
  • Posting of customer credit memos for approved claims
  • Prepare general ledger journal entries
  • Communicate with CPA professional for bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Reconciliations of Merchant Accounts

  • Track account funding and transfers for payments across a number of accounts

  • Liaise and follow up with shipping carriers on claims involving delayed or lost packages
  • Correspond with customers and coordinate follow-up action with appropriate staff members to resolve claims in a respectful manner
  • Maturity and good judgment to understand when to exercise initiative and handle claims directly, and when to refer claims to a manager.
  • An excellent team player highly effective in working with others but also capable of working independently
  • Manage and maintain customer claims database

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related Field preferred, will consider commiserate experience with education
  • 2+ year experience using QuickBooks Accounting Software (QuickBooks Certification preferred)

  • Record of experience dealing with vendor RMA’s
  • Strong technology skills ( including Excel, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Applications).

Operations Manager

The Operations Manager will be responsible for planning and executing all functions of operations for the business based in McAllen, Texas.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide management, and leadership for all assigned operations personnel
  • Plan and provide for adequate facilities, manpower, and equipment to meet the Royal business plan
  • Represent manufacturing at all appropriate management functions
  • Ensure performance measures are met – including shipping, receiving, quality, efficiency, delivery, P&L, marketing and sales
  • Day to day management of essential HR Functions (staff, hiring, firing, disciplinary actions etc.)
  • Works closely with other departments and CEO to ensure smooth overall management of the business
  • Work with external partners, vendors and suppliers to ensure that the business can run smoothly and effectively

Qualifications:

  • Must be willing to relocate to Houston, TX in the next 6-12 months
  • 3+ years of management experience in smaller company (less than 50 employee) environment – required
    • Excellent communicator with internal staff
    • Decisive manager, willing to make tough decisions when needed
    • Hands on leader with a good blend of strategic and can handle day to day issues
    • Able to work collaboratively with other departments and owner of the business
    • Background selling in retails internet channels, such as eBay and Amazon a plus
  • Proven record of successful sales experience
  • Background in electronics, electrical design a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, but will consider other candidates who have commensurate work experience – required (MBA preferred)
