Touch Interface
Equipped with a crisp 8” color display running at 1024 x 768 resolution, the Touch 8 offers a fluid capacitive interface for effortless navigation. Effortlessly choose your designated Space, trigger scenes, adjust brightness levels, or fine-tune hues using the integrated color wheel. The Touch 8 places complete lighting management right at your fingertips.
Straightforward Installation
Featuring a modernized wall-mounting setup, the included Universal Mounting Plate mounts seamlessly to standard UK, US, and EU backboxes. The Touch 8 connects to the plate using a discreet bayonet twist-lock mechanism, ensuring a secure, tool-less attachment while keeping the internal MicroSD slot concealed and safe from tampering.
Power-over-Ethernet
Utilizing Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), the Touch 8 can be installed anywhere using a single network cable for both power delivery and data transmission. Pair it with the Pharos Switch—a matching PoE solution—to run up to four Touch panels smoothly.
Controller
The Touch 8 connects directly to a Pharos Express Control hardware system over standard Ethernet protocols.
Wherever They’re Needed
Expand your system up to 32 Express Touch panels per Express Control unit. Custom interface screens are automatically created based on the Space assigned to each Touch 8, giving you tailored control over an individual area or your entire venue.
Express Software
Pharos Express software simplifies configuration with built-in design assistants and clear, structured workflows. Just assign panels to their respective spaces, pick a matching visual theme, and let the software automatically generate interactive pages complete with scene triggers, color pickers, and dimming sliders.
Reliability
Engineered specifically for fixed installations with continuous 24/7 performance in mind. Standalone hardware and firmware design mean the system operates independently without requiring an active PC on site.
