The CueStation Universal Network Hub is a multi-purpose interface for controlling button stations that use either 2-Wire or 4-Wire network technologies. The Hub acts as both a power supply for the stations as well as a gateway for allowing host systems to receive button events and instruct the button indicators to illuminate in various ways. The Network Hub is not used with Passive stations. The Network Hub communicates with the host system by RS-232 messages and/or Ethernet messages. Note: Alternate power supply options are available for this product. If you would like to order this product with an Australian Plug Set or a UK/European Plug Set, please include that request on the "Order Notes" section at checkout. Please Note: The CueStation Mystique and Ultra series come standard with White plastic housing and no LEDs. If you would like to customize your CueStation, please specify your color choice from this chart and include it in the "Order Notes" section at checkout or call us at (281) 324-0908 The CueStation family of button stations are attractive, sophisticated and customizable – perfect for use in projects that require a small panel of buttons that can control automated lighting, audio, show playback and other similar actions. Choose from digitally networked stations or simple passive switches, different button styles, LED options, housing colors, engraving options and much more. Use CueStations as a remote control accessory for our CueServer lighting automation processors or your own custom projects. Mystique Series The Mystique series features 1/2″ (13mm) square buttons available in 1, 2, 3, 4 or 8 button configurations. This station provides a soft touch and allows the keycaps to be engraved. Each button has an indicator LED next to its top-right or top-left corner (depending on which side of the station the button is located). Individual key caps may be engraved or the top of each column may be engraved on the cover plate. Ultra Series The Ultra series features high-tech horizontal buttons with LED indicators on the left side of the buttons. This station provides a designer style with tactile button response. The Ultra series is available in 1 through 6 button configurations. Engraving is available on the Ultra series on the housing area above each button. Passive Wire Network Passive CueStations simply provide dry-contact switch closures for direct connection to devices that are expecting a contact closure to activate an event. There is a single terminal for each switch plus an extra terminal which is the "switch common" on the back of the station. For example, on a six button station, seven conductors would be needed (the six switches, plus one common). The Passive CueStation is designed to be directly connected to the contact closure inputs and digital output ports of a CueServer processor, however, these stations can be used in a wide variety of custom applications as well. Digital 2-Wire Network This technology uses a topology free and polarity free simple 2-wire network to connect the individual stations together so that any combination of home-run and daisy-chained connections can be made without regard to the polarity of the two conductors. The 2-Wire button stations are controlled by the Universal CueStation Hub, which can power up to 10 individual 2-Wire stations, for a total of up to 80 buttons (and indicators). For systems requiring more than 10 stations, additional Hubs can be used and/or a combination of the 5-Wire stations can be used. The Hub can be connected to the host system by either RS-232 or Ethernet protocols (which are fully documented). Digital 5-Wire Network The Digital 5-Wire Network type of CueStation was designed to provide an increased number of stations on the same network with greater cable distances. This technology uses a 4-wire network to connect the individual stations together in a daisy-chained topology. The 5-Wire button stations are controlled by the Universal CueStation Hub, which can power up to 50 individual 5-Wire stations, for a total of up to 400 buttons (and indicators). For systems requiring more than 50 stations, additional Hubs can be used and/or a combination of the 2-Wire stations can be used. The Hub can be connected to the host system by either RS-232 or Ethernet protocols (which are fully documented). If you would like to customize your Ultra Station, include your color and LED choice from the table below in the "Order Notes" section at checkout. SKU# CS-STATION

The DMX Merger XMG-51 is a 5 input, one merge output, 5 pin XLR system that merges 5 DMX lines together into one. The XMG-51 DMX Merger combines up to five DMX lines together into one. This allows multiple DMX lighting control systems are used simultaneously on a single light installation. The DMX data is merged together according from simple to complex combination that you can configure. The operating modes and rules can be combined. This allows for a variety of possibilities of operation: Multiple lighting controllers can share one of the 512 DMX channels. For example, controller A controls the channels 1-48, controller B controls the channel 50-74 and the channels 200-400 are controlled by controller C. Several light controllers can operate on the same channels. For example, a single Lamp can be controlled by all controllers at the same time. Which controller has priority is configurable (HTP, LTP). A mobile lighting controller could be plugged in different places of the venue. The merger recognizes where the controller is plugged in and switches automatically the corresponding port to the output. A backup lighting controller can be used at the same time as the main lighting controller by using the XMG-51Merger. The merger will automatically switch to the backup controller in the case of a failure of the main controller. It can also be switched manually at any time. The XMG-51 has a built in bypass relay which connects the output with a dedicated input in event of a power supply failure.

Madrix Luna Configuration Problems and Solutions If you’ve tried to configure your Madrix Luna thru Artnet using the Quick Start Guide and the software does not find the Luna. Then you may have to update the Luna’s firmware. To update the Firmware, connect the USB, close and open Madrix, then go to TOOLS/LUNA CONFIGURATION once Madrix detects your Luna, you highlight the unit and click “firmware”. Firmware update process should begin. This should fix ArtNet connectivity between Madrix and Luna. The MADRIX Luna family is made up of multi node DMX interfaces used for multiple universe installations. Available in 4, 8 and 16 universe configurations, the Luna is equipped with different modes and features. It can be used as an Art-Net device, allowing the user to convert DMX to Art-Net for projects that call for such application. It can also be used to distribute from 4 to 16 DMX universes with 1 DMX input depending on the Luna model you chose. For larger projects that call for more universes, multiple Lunas can be used. In MADRIX synch mode, the Luna allows you to synchronize Art-Net Data across 4-16 ports with no visual interruptions. The Luna is compatible with any third party Art-Net controller. Specifically designed by MADRIX, the Luna is the easiest multi node interface to configure. It is literally plug and play, and it is fully customizable as well. If settings need to be edited, it can all be easily done from the Device Manager section in the MADRIX software. High quality construction is what makes this interface reliable. Manufactured and designed in Germany, along with great customer support the Luna will definitely get the job done right the first time around. Made with only the highest quality components, the MADRIX Luna is designed to last. The Lunas have the standard rack dimensions, for easy rack installation and configuration. If a project calls for multiple Lunas, they can all be incorporated in a rack to neatly keep everything in place. With different status lights, and high quality Neutrik connectors, the MADRIX Luna will keep the show going in an effortless manner. The MADRIX Luna can also be used as a simple DMX to USB interface. It comes with a USB cable, making it a very versatile product capable of achieving many different styles of operation, from the most basic, to the complex. No matter if your set up is large scale or a smaller installation, the Luna will make the configuration a lot easier. There is very little programming to be done since it was specifically designed to work with MADRIX. Whether you are looking for high grade professional equipment that will not let you down, or you are just starting off in the lighting industry and you are looking for a simple, plug and play alternative to an otherwise complicated set up, the MADRIX Luna is ready to undertake any task, no matter the magnitude.
