What is UL?

UL, or Underwriters Laboratories, is a global independent safety science company dedicated to safeguarding people, products and places. They have been involved in the innovation of safety solutions from the public adoption of electricity in 1894 through the current breakthroughs in renewable energy and nanotechnology. UL achieves this through a rigorous process of validation, testing, inspection and continuous audit to ensure that every product that bears their mark is guaranteed to be safe.

Why does it matter?

By undergoing the extensive process required to obtain the certification by UL for many of our products, including our entire line of 5050 LED strips, you can rest assured knowing that your home or business is safe with our strips installed. Of course you could always purchase lower quality strips at a cheaper price, but when it comes to ensuring the safety of your family, customers and property it’s always best to have the peace of mind that the LED strips you are installing have been certified for safety by experienced professionals. It has always been SIRS-E’s goal to offer the highest quality product with absolutely no compromise and earning this certification is just another example of the processes we take to ensure this goal.
